PMD: Outlaws
Upcoming Deadlines
Quick Links
In the land of Tremel, a power struggle is occurring.
Four factions all vying to bring their ideas to the masses of the land:
All four fighting one another, whether on the same side of the law or not.
Which of these four will you choose to join and help bring their goals to fruition?
Design Guidelines
Below, you will find guidelines on how to design your character to fit within the realm of Tremel. While this page contains information for non-Modified characters, there are further rulings and guidelines in the Modified Pokémon section linked above. As a general rule of thumb, however:
Any Pokémon that does not stray from the official design is likely to be allowed without the need for design approval
You may alter a character's Nature, Characteristic, and Ability at any time without the need for approval nor at any additional cost
You are allowed to change a Pokémon that is typically quadrupedal to be bipedal, and vice-versa
You are not allowed to make a Pokémon resemble a humanoid (kemono, gijinka, or realistic anthropomorphism)
If you are unsure about any element of your character, be it design or backstory, please ask for approval via a note to the group or in the #design-feedback channel in Discord!
Ancestry Traits
As a baseline, you are allowed to have your character exhibit small inherited traits from their ancestry! For example: a Pokémon with an Umbreon parent may have yellow band and/or circle markings; or a Pokémon with a Seviper in their family may have long fangs.Bear in mind that these changes should be purely cosmetic. If they inherit things such as an atypical typing for their species, or exhibit very prominent features from their ancestry, they may be better considered a Delta or a Fusion. If you choose to add any of these traits to your character, please check in with the mod team for approval!
Color Variants
Though not considered Modified Pokémon, your Pokémon can use natural color variations at no additional cost to start. For example: albinism, melanism, piebaldism, and shiny are legal; but Pinkan is not.If your Pokémon is evolved, at no additional cost, you are allowed to use colors from its previous evolution(s) in place of the ones it would normally have at that stage. For example: a Flygon can use yellow from Vibrava instead of green for its main body, or your Crobat can be blue like a Zubat instead of its usual purple. The Trade Guild leader Rene is one such example of this phenomenon!Additionally, any color palette that has appeared in an official work or game is valid to start with. For example, a blue-earred Sneasel using the Gold/Silver sprite palette or a bluish Bulbasaur from Pokémon Stadium are both allowed (see below). We would appreciate it if you noted where the unique coloration comes from if you do use it to start with, however!

Sneasel from Pokémon Gold/Silver

Recoloration Dye is an item that will occasionally be purchasable through the Fire Sale or earnable as an event reward. Using this, you can swap your character between any natural colorations listed above, and make adjustments to your character’s palette such as dying fur an unusual color. Any recolors using this item will need to be approved!
